You, as an individual, can make connections as you please. These are the same white supremacist settler colonial capitalist institutions and systems — so the oppressive systems are structured similarly and overlap. But it is important to understand the antiblackness at the root of comparing Black bodies (not human beings) and the histories attached particularly by well funded all white vegan/animal rights institutions as well as those who do not care about Black people vegan or not vegan.
